Certified Flight Instructor

Brandon Bell

Brandon Bell is an experienced pilot and certified flight instructor based at the Texarkana Regional Airport. He is passionate about safety and always keeps up-to-date on the most current technology.

“I have dreamed about of flying the skies most of my life,” Brandon said.  “A Christmas gift several years ago launched that dream into reality and started a career.  After my first flight, I decided then and there I wanted to fly and teach others to fly too.”

Brandon is currently an independent flight instructor at the Texarkana Flying Club.  He is based at the Texarkana Regional Airport (KTXK). Brandon is approved to teach in a Cessna 150, Cirrus SR22 & SR20, Piper Cherokee, Piper Archer, Piper Saratoga, and many other aircraft.

Brandon is an aircraft owner and often helps his students through the decision of whether to rent or purchase an airplane. Brandon is also a corporate pilot for a local company and flies on a regular basis.  Due to flying for a living, Brandon has extensive real world experience, and it shows in his teaching.

Brandon’s Ratings and Qualifications:

    • Certified Flight Instructor (CFI) – Single Engine Airplane
    • Certified Flight Instructor – Instruments
    • Advanced Ground Instructor (AGI)
    • Commercial Pilot – Instrument Rated Single Engine & Instrument Rated Multi-Engine Land Airplane
    • 1300+ hours total flying time
    • 800+ hours in TAA – Technically Advanced Aircraft (glass cockpit)
    • Participant, FAA Safety Team
    • Member, Aircraft Owners & Pilots Association (AOPA)
    • Participant, AOPA Air Safety Foundation (ASF) – numerous courses
    • Air Support Network Representative
