Discovery Flights

If you’re here, you’ve probably dreamed of flying since you could say the word “airplane”, or you know someone who has.   A Discovery Flight may be the introduction to flight training that you are looking for — and it may be the perfect gift for your flight enthusiast.

Our Discovery Flight begins at hanger at the Texarakana Flying Club. After a short ground briefing, you will begin your flight by assisting in pre-flighting the aircraft in a lesson format. This is a great way to get to know your instructor.  Then you will climb aboard the plane to view the sights over Texarkana, and you will be the one in control. The $99.00 flight is approximately one hour.  The Discovery Flight will give you the opportunity to hand fly the airplane and log flight time in your Pilot Log Book.
